Naja Garden Centre is a well-established, family owned and operated retail business with a reputation for excellence.
Owners, Terry and Sue Poynter together with daughter Shannon, aim to serve the local and wider community by providing the best quality products, professional and helpful advice and superb, friendly service.
The team is completed by Jacqui Duffy, long-time employee and gardening guru!
The business was started in 1981 by Natalie and Jac Spyksma (hence the name Naja) with a retail and wholesale nursery and landscaping business run from their home. In 1986 they moved to the present site at 198 Molesworth Drive and 1994 saw the opening of the attached café, which now operates as a separate enterprise.
Naja is an integral and iconic part of the Mangawhai community and the only retail garden centre in the area.
Terry, Sue and the team continue a strong tradition of family values, a passion for gardening, a philosophy of excellence and service with a smile.
